Betrayed Love and a Mother's Vengeance

Ethan and Katie were married, but Ethan's affections lay with Katie's disabled sister. Katie was framed by Valerie and caught in an incriminating situation by Ethan. At the same time, Katie's sister was pushed into a lake and drowned, leading everyone to accuse Katie of the crime. Ethan also believed that Katie was responsible. Even when Katie became pregnant, Ethan refused to believe the child was his and insisted on a divorce. On the day Katie gave birth, Valerie came to humiliate her, forcibly took the baby away, and had one of Katie's kidneys removed before throwing her into prison. Valerie then revealed that all of this had been orchestrated by Ethan. In prison, Katie suffered relentless abuse.
