Defend The Warm Courtyard

Former top lawyer Lu Wan gets blacklisted for rejecting corporate fraud. She returns to run her family’s Warm Sun Nursing Home and protect its elderly residents. Confronting a forced-demolition scheme by corrupt Qin Real Estate and its allies, Lu Wan partners with lawyer friend Song Qiao and quirky seniors. Using legal tools, they collect evidence and resolve crises. Fighting noise disturbance, violent eviction, pig-butchery scams and online slander, they stand together and defeat Qin Group at the bar hearing. The nursing home becomes a national model. Many burnt-out youths volunteer here. The old street retains its warmth, showing law and compassion coexisting.
