When Fortune Knocks

The lucky star in the sky incarnated as Fubao and descended to the mortal world to undergo tribulations. Unfortunately, he was thrown into the famine-stricken 1980s and was mistaken for a disaster star, left in the barren mountains with his life hanging by a thread. Fortunately, Grandma Liu picked him up and took him home. From the day the Liu family took Fubao in, they were shocked beyond words. In the year of famine, fish and geese scrambled to jump into the arms of the Liu family. The sheep that hadn't given birth for seven years started having one litter after another. In the years of persistent drought, rain only fell on the Liu family's land. The barren fields that others discarded yielded gold as soon as the Lius dug them. They even cut open a gambling stone and found a top-grade imperial green jade. The eldest child's limp disappeared, the second child was no longer mentally challenged, and the third child, who had been missing for years, returned home.Happy events came one after another to the old Liu family. Their small life became more and more prosperous, thriving day by day, which made the villains green with envy.
